I signed up for the 2nd week of the "January team challenge" thing on the WriYe forums.
I achieved my goal of 15k word count for this week - I'm aiming for 10k next week so I can get 5-7k over and cover for the people who don't write much.
I have a feeling "Team 50k-250k" is going to win this week though.
Oh well. The only reason for that is they pick wordcount goals of 500-3000, so it's easier to achieve. The people in the team I'm in (250k-500k, soon to be "Team Bubblewrap") usually aim for 5k-10k, so we have a little bit of a harder time with winning.
They judge who wins by % of wordcount done by the whole team, rather than word count totals.
