There was a new Year's festival up in Sydney so there's too many bands touring around at the moment. Cynic, Malevolent creation, Rotting christ, Edguy, Ensiferum, Destroyer 666, Sonata Arctica, Dark funeral, probably a few others I forgot.

hope you guys had better weather for New years. It was 38 degrees here all day then about 10.30 or 11 it absolutely bucketed down. Wind, lightning, the lot. Lightning was awesome if ya had somewhere dry to watch it from.

Anyone do anything special?

in sydney they had a festival. Here we get all the bands individually or double bills and they're all expensive Don't know how the promoter expects us to have about 50euro a night 4 or 5 nights at this time of year.
Cynic and Rotting Christ were awesome.
Edguy were funny.

i think some gigs will suffer as people can't afford to go every night so they'll choose 1 or 2.
I have to DJ at the bar round the corner after Malevolent Creation tomorrow so that should turn messy.

we had heavy rains & thunder storms .. and it was about 25 degrees

new years eve was nice tho .. friends & lots of alcohol
