Well it is already losing popularity here, it's more of a trend than something long lasting I think. Several of the bigger bands in that style will survive.

and i really hope you're right. in here it's losing popularity too but when you look to a billing board like hellfest you think that there's people that likes shitty bands. but anyway... metal is not a style to please everybody, it's not pop. but i sincerely hope that this style go away for good...
