I bought the new Immortal CD today, and the latest Vader CD.

yes I know, I buy too many CDs. I HATE MP3.

I have not listened to the Vader CD yet.

As for the Immortal CD, I've listened to 4 and a half songs out of seven so far.

I feel that the lead guitar is too weak in the mix. So far I think the CD is OK, but not great. No where near as good as S.O.N.D.. After such a long wait for a new Immortal CD I was hoping for something much better. Yes I realize that Immortal was disbanded for a while, but they still had more than enough time to write a great album. Another thin is the album has only 7 songs, so the album is rather short. If there were some extra long epic songs it would make up for the small number, but sadly the songs run from average to semi long.

But hopefully after several more listens I will like it better. And it for sure does NOT suck.
