150K Before WOA 2010

was nice my first festival ^^ took a warm shower every morning

the bands were very great .. and the camping- and festivalground too. the only bad thing was that I was too ill to see amon amarth longer than 20 minutes .. would have slept standing if I would not have gone .. and amon amarth was the only band I wanted to see when it was dark! the other ones werent that interesting .. prefered the bands which performed in the afternoon deadlock, battlelore, narziss/epica, before the dawn, schandmaul ..

That sounds great, except the part of being ill. I would like to see Amon Amarth, I have not seen them yet. I took a shower every day at WOA. I can't sleep when I feel dirty. Thankfully I felt well while I was there. Being ill at a festival would really be bad.

well it was only that evening when I had that cold!!
the night before I had been freezing .. and in the evening it got me. couldnt hardly breathe, only through my mouth and I was veery tired .. no good conditions for standing a long time in a huuge crowd, especially the feeling of distressness. so I went to bed, slept in 4 shirts and was healthy again the next day^^

It sounds like you made the right choice to sleep. Otherwise you would have probably gotten much more ill.

I saw Before the Dawn at WOA last year. Very good band.
