I tried to find them when I was over there in feb for iron maiden. i wanted to smuggle one home in my carry on luggage. no luck unfortunately.

yeah I saw on the news... any problems in your parents area?

well it did flood there, parts of the roads were blocked off and they cancelled school today, also the college I was going to go to over there apparently got their campus flooded
but our house was at the top of a hill so they were fine, just apparently had a leak in the basement and that's it

There's some tiny islands to the east of NZ that 'officially' get the first light of each day. I remember watching TV on new years eve 99/2000 and they were showing the first light there saying it was the first light of the new century.
