Friday I saw 14 bands in 6 hours, Saturday 7 bands in 3 hours

yeah, between 15 and 25 minutes depending on the band, and having two stages, so when one finished the other one immediately started.

when it was a bad band, it was good that it was short, when it was a good band the length sucked

But most bands are unsigned and don't really have a lot of songs.

It happened a few times that the band went "well, that's it" and the guys doing the sounds yelled "do one more song, the next band aint ready yet" and the answer from the first band was "we haven't rehersed any more songs"


This one band I saw a few weeks ago and now once more are, for me, awesome. They're young as hell, but sounds so very nice! Also the singer has an amazing way of connecting to the crowd which is rather remarkable for being so young and not haveing played live all that much.

They have 5 songs on their myspace and also a link to download their 3 song EP

I think they'll be a arther big band in a few years if they can stick together and make it work with school, jobs and what not.
Yes, they are so young as they are still in high school

going to kill my dad for telling me I shouldn't have relied on ATMs to get money when I was abroad

but I just found out that if I had used my Bank of America card at certain ATMs, like Deutsche Bank for example, it would have absolutely no fees besides a 1% conversion charge

if I had done that, I wouldn't have lost 50 euros just due to the crappy rate at Eindhoven station
