here the music scene in general is bad .. and its hard to travel to Europe every year and go to all the fests ..

I forgot to mention local festivals such as Neerpelt Open Air, Folkwoods, Best Pop etc. And Parkpop (The Hague), the biggest free festival in Europe (if it still exists)

Too bad though. But I think it's a question of culture too.
From what I've heard, there aren't any REAL good festivals in the US either. Most come to here (Europe) to visit them.

yeah i think the best Music scene ( not only metal ) is found in Europe
