On her political ideas.

I'm curious Kris why not! Come on, hit me!

well if you feel like ranting .. dont let me stop you :p

:D Well Q wants me to so.

Basically I'm not a huge fan of government programs in the first place, much less ones that prefer a certain group over another. Perfect example: me and Holly. I come from a financially stable house, she doesn't. In the US, the poor can basically be paid to go to college, which Holly was. But I don't. I have to pay myself, finding minimum wage jobs and such. Only difference is our families. Neither gave us monetary support. So as a result of the government favoring the poor, Holly can go to school for free while I pay $2000 a semester [minimum] despite us both being equally qualified as far as grades/intelligence. It's a charitable idea, but why are the poor any better than the middle class?

Well, what would've happened if Holly didn't get something? Well, she'd also have to do the same silly low wage jobs as you do, but.... no college. No one will be able to pay for it, and this is an UNVOLONTAIRY choise. You don't chooose where you're born in.

If you have money, you have to pay. If you don't, you are allowed to have the same chances as everyone else, and money cannot be a border here.

And don't worry, Holly has to pay too, though in absolute figures less than you do. In relative sense however I don't think there's any difference.
The strongest shoulders should carry the most weight.
