Well, in your case it's true. You need to fly.
I can easilly buy a ticket and decide not to go if I haven't got enough €€€s to travel. (ticket itself was €30)

yeah it will be a matter of leave days & plus having enough money to fly there
.. but hoping i will be able to make it next year ..
