Müsste ich im Zusammenhang sehen, ich hab's bei ihr nie bemerkt. Spontan würde ich aber vermuten, dass es eine Abkürzung für "though" (obwohl) ist.

Yes that's why I only did it one time. Dryers shorten the life of T-Shirts

OK, in NL they're rather tall.
But even here in BE it seams most is XL.
