yeah, though the girl that got a golden palace advert tattoed on her forehead seemed newsworthy. I like reading about people that are insane.

what I find the most annoying is when bbc news website has a series of headlines as follows:

"child dies in tragic event" (local news event)

1 day later
"mother describes child as 'happy, caring'" (not news)

3 days later
"funeral for child today" (still not news)

I've seen this sequence at least 3-4 times. it's pathetic.

Yes, that's why I don't watch TV except the news. It's strange because I was watching some older kids shows and it wasn't so dumbed down really at all. Then again, it seems everywhere lately are turning people into big pussies who get lost in parking lots.
