my only problem with the crowd was during the first onkel tom gig (he played twice as replacement for Kampfar)
there was (the usual) big puddle of mud in front of the WET stage and people did not want to go through there to get in ór out
so it became a pushing contest.
The people wanting to get in vs the people wanting to get out

yea I was there... that fricken sucked...
we ended up missing that show because of the crowd... we were like, screw it, let's get the crap out of here...
caught the second show though

too crowded, didn't get a good spot on most of the bands I wanted to see
and some other stuff sucked
but Gamma Ray and Turisas made it worthwhile

Just to be on the safe side, I just ordered my ticket (for the 1st time in 5(!) years).

Yeah Gamma Ray are great. The difference in the crowd from 2003 to 2008 was huge. 2003 was much better in that regard. But I'd still gladly return again.
