yeah .. it would be more expensive .. but if they get good bands to come i wont mind to fly there ..

not bad at all, I rode the bus from Trier to Wacken last year and it took 11 hours.
Of course it made stops along the way.
You went by train if I remember correctly.
It took me 8hrs to get from Brussels to Heide (one station further than Itzehoe) by train with limited stops. (Liège Guillemins, Köln Hbf, then change to Hamburg, and then the regional train to Heide)
yeah .. it would be more expensive .. but if they get good bands to come i wont mind to fly there ..

I used Bock Tours, and caught the bus from the trier main station direct to WOA. I was considering the train, but the bus was cheaper and actually easier. No switching trains etc.

Well I enjoy driving and a long road trip in Europe to a festival would be fun. Especially with friends, metal CDs and lots of food and drinks.

I prefer trains. Despite the change.
One can stand, walk, drink a beer, etc. In a bus I cannot stand while it rides.
And there are too many fools on the road IMO.
