i dont know, i'm going down there on tuesday, my dad lives in wales, mum in glos, but not much is happening here, besides me saving up for a seven string guitar

Meh, i apparantly have a college fund that:
1) i'm not allowed to mess about with...yet
2) i don't even need it atm cos i'm not done with GCSE's

Gear Acquisition Syndrome. I have bad one.

I don't have a college fund because in Finland people don't have to pay for studying and I just decided to leave abroad so I'm in a trouble if I start gathering new instruments.

mah, my dad's always in that mode, he's got like 5 guitars, he cant play a seven string tho, only i've got that talent in the family

I have an awesome Stingray. I totally fell in love wit it at the very first sight when I saw it.

why no no for picks? i can play with my fingers, but i have to spend like 10 minutes warming up, most of the bass stuff i write, i play with a pick, then our bassist plays it with fingers, and we decide which sounds better, she's open minded like that

Playing with a pick feels weird. Maybe it's just what you've got used to.. I've always played without pick. My teacher told me to play without pick so that's the way I've been used to play.

yea, i'm lucky tho, my dad's side of the family is really musical, and my dad plays guitar, so i got into that.

I asked him for an ESP V-200 and he wouldn't get it cos its awkward to play, so i got stuck with playing explorers
i was gonna ask him to help me save up and get a V, but then i got one of those Xmas package tickets off him and was like
