€2+ for a small 0.2l glass of "horse's pee" (=Heineken) in the Netherlands, instead of €1.50 for a 0.25l of good old Jupiler here in Belgium.
So, Belgian pubs are cheaper.

Yea, I don't like cold myself. I don't much like where I'm at in the winters, but it's not nearly as cold as Finland. I considered it cold at night over there, people must have seen me as a moron wearing a jacket in 16 degrees

Let's compare capital to capital.
Brussels cafe: Ordinary beer at 0.25l. About €1.80
Amsterdam cafe: same beer (different brand) at 0.2l. About €2 if not more already! (2 years ago!)
But it depends on where you are in NL. (and BE of course)

I don't even live that northward and it's freaking cold from October to March.
