Sounds like a great time. Wish I could have been there. Sounds like Q did not enjoy himself as much.

bit less people would have been nice, but all in all I managed to get great spots in the audience for all bands I wanted to see

and I would like to see the running order like it was a couple of years ago

more diversity in metal, and none of that emo/core stuff

Yeah I agree, the metalcore and emo stuff has no place at WOA. It's good to hear that the crowd was not too big, especially since I plan to return. Hopefully you will be able to afford it again, you have a whole year to save and prepare.

and with all the new stuff like the wrestling and the medieval stage away from the big festival area the visitors were spread better.

it wasnt like Iron Maiden all over again


my only problem with the crowd was during the first onkel tom gig (he played twice as replacement for Kampfar)
there was (the usual) big puddle of mud in front of the WET stage and people did not want to go through there to get in ór out
so it became a pushing contest.
The people wanting to get in vs the people wanting to get out

That's a good thing, it sounds like it really helped to keep the crowd from getting too concentrated in one area. And yeah the crowd for Maiden was insane.
