good to hear, I guess you had fun then? :p
Yeah, Terror were awesome, not a huge turnout but definitely most intense hardcore band i seen in ages.
Mate was roadying for support band at Skid Row so i got in free. They actually surprised me. Singer hit the notes, maybe didnt hold them as long or strongly as Bach but id way better than recorded stuff i've heard. only did a handful of songs not on the classic 2 albums so everyone knew the words and had a lot of fun. Ended up at the pub with them afterwards, really cool, genuine, normal guys. We were all there til 5am on a thur nite havin fun and taking over the jukebox.

The Slayer/Megadeth tour has been 'interesting' so far. Probably not the classic it should have been but more on that in a minute. i need a piss.

basically, it's the first time we've had a classic double bill like this ever down here. a lot of the newer bands do package tours but not 2 major classic bands like this.

hasn't gone to plan however. After New zealand and Brisbane Tom got a severe case of laryngitis. Sydney gig vocals were pretty patchy and some yells he didnt do. Melbourne gig (my home) he did 1 song then made a really scratchy apology. Next few songs were instrumental, the masses were getting very restless. A roadie did one song, someone from aussie support screamed one song. There were a couple more guest spots, incl some idiot from the crowd butchering 1st verse of Angel of Death before being dragged. tom just managed the South of Heaven, reign in Blood encore.
2 nights later in Adelaide Slayer pulled out, Megadeth did an extended set and they gave refunds at the door if you wanted, a couple of hundred out of 3000 went home.
Aparrently he's doing pretty well in Perth right now as i type. my mate's there.

Megadeth still put in one of the best shows i've seen them do. The adelaide gig was longer because SLAYER had to pull out. They fucken opened with 'Set The World On Fire off So far, '.So good So what?...' and added a few newer songs into the set to make up for SLAYER's non-appearance. Not a huge fan of Megadeth's later stuff but with Mechanix, Wake Up Dead, set the World..., Hohly Wars, In my Darkest Hour, Peace Sells..., Rattlehead I wasnt complaining.
