I just hope that ALL organisors of (big) happenings like festivals will NEVER, but I mean NEVER have to face such thing EVER again!
The same goes for the visitors of course.
I found the end of Maiden 08 scary but this is beyond imagination.

People stood in line for glas checkpoint. The point was taken away, so they went in en masse.
The stage area got too full and the police sent people back to the tunnel where on the other side they were entering (again, en masse)
That's what caused the panic.

(The checking on glas part) Not necessarily, that was just a comment of a guy who's been there.
Heard on a few news by now that people got annoyed because they weren't let in. They climbed some stairs next to the tunnel to sneak up to the area and some fell (from a few meters high) down into the crowd.

we were just a coule op miles away and we past the area this morning, not knowing that it had been there...
we knew though that people had died at the love parade, but somebody said it was in dusseldorf, atleast that's what I got out of it.
still it doesn't matter where it was of course, but seeing the images just is pretty damn shocking, and yeah like Q said, in 2008 with maiden playing at wacken it got scarry too, but nothing compared to this.
