some of my all time fav bass players play fenders though, So i'd go for a black one, even though they're not as nasty looking as some other bass guitars. plus I am really happy with my fender guitar.

yea, Fender's a good brand all around.
although... my band's bass player has a Fender bass. but we all think mine's better, haha.
