    over here there aren't many rules anymore, and I have been to utrecht en amsterdam this week. things almost seemed like the good old days as nobody was doing anything to prevent covid. so if numbers aren't going up a lot in the coming days/weeks I guess things might just get back to normal...

    My last gig was eindhoven metal meeting 2019, next one will probably be this years edition of eindhoven metal meeting. I'm not much in a hurry either, I'll first wait and see the results of other festivals.

    sorry but that's not true, the person did have a valid negative test, which according to the rules at that time gave you the right to enter for 48 hours: link to dutch article

    They tried to do it that way here 2 months ago and it turned out not to be safe enough. i.e. at one festival about 5% of people got infected. And in one disco/club 1 person apparently infected 180 other people....

    That does make it easier. but other countries with zero covid strategies have done a much better job then the western world as well. And those countries aren't islands.

    the aussie government seems to have a zero covid strategy, which in my opinion is far superior to the "let's keep things going unless the hospitals are overflowing" strategy that the dutch government is using.

    well, you might still get it but chances of it being dangerous are very low now. so, congrats! I have to wait and other week for my second pfizer shot.
