). Somewhere between "fake winter" and "spring" weather with a bit of rain. I hope I arrive before this supposed thunderstorm on Tuesday.

But it's been a bit colder in the north of Germany. Last Thursday and Friday about 25°. Too bad it went up to 30° on Saturday.

Yeah a tad too hot for my liking
I was actually moving to another city during that period and I was staying at the hotel, I got "free" A/C for almost a week which was better than trying to cool down a whole house lol

All this talk of heatwaves suddenly brings me back to my night in Hamburg last year. I forgot there was no air conditioning in the hotel I booked and I don't think it had a fan. It was hot, so I kept the window open for several hours. It wasn't until I prepared for bed that I saw at least 100 mosquitoes in my hotel room. I went to reception and asked if they had insect spray and all I got in response was "I don't know". Luckily for me, the mosquitoes were slow and tired, and not hungry.
