so apparently Manowar cancelled their Hellfest performance a few hours before they were supposed to play. dickheads

I spent years as a fan.. but after.. the .... issues this past year with them... I cannot support them.... This is such a NOT cool thing to do to your fans.. (Especially when there were on the ground yesterday apparently)...

Not cool... not metal......

I feel bad for all the fans that went out to Hellfest with them as one of their main reasons...

In a statement, they claimed they couldn't give the full manowar experience.

Apparently they weren't allowed to soundcheck yesterday because of Knotfest.

Either way, arrogance all over the top.
Manowar sucks.

Looks like.. from what I can translate/read... Sabaton has been asked to step up and fill that spot............... Good for them..

And.. you really need your own special soundcheck? I know of Manowars.. issues with sound and being that loud.. BUT.. France has db limit rules apparently that they wouldn't be able to exceed anyways.

Was just looking at the running order, and saw that
Slayer plays Fri night at the same time as The Crown!

NOOOO!!!! Of all the acts they could pick to go on
during Slayer's set they had to pick The Crown?!! I've
never seen The Crown live before, but I always have
a blast whenever Slayer comes around. Dammit, move
The Crown to a different time slot!! lol making them
play during Slayer's set is downright criminal.
