just got home, time to order some food.

I'm not too excited about the bands announced for next year really... I want something new...

I wanna see watain and belphegor even though I've seen them both already.
Loco is probably not coming next year, but he hasn't made up his mind yet.

How was the infield compared to last year ? Is their draining solution made a difference ?

From what I saw, there was almost no big pool of mud/water close to the stages.

there was pretty much constantly a pool of water on top of the drainage system.
The rest seemed a bit better than last year, but it might have rained less, hard to say.

I'm actually wondering of the new "card" ticket will double as a cashless payment card.

Money is the reason.

The luggage stuff isn't a reason. It was airlines/airports fault, not anyone in wacken.

Of course it's the airlines fault, but I can imagine it doesn't help with the festival experience.

But yeah money can be a tough hurdle to overcame.
If Jose won't come next year Jesper and I will have to come by train, which will cost us a bit more, and we'll be able to take less stuff.
So it was a tough(er) decision for me too.

So this is what happened when I got home, had some food, wanted to shower so took my clothes off, started shaking like hell (it's 25 degrees inside), cramps in my back muscles. so tried to shower while shaking like crazy. now I'm wearing a nice hoodie and sweatpants, I'm super hot and still have de shivers though fortunately not as bad. I guess I'll get ill

already fell asleep a couple of times, I'm glad I turned on some alarms just before midnight

I read somewhere, a drainage system needs at least 3 years to function perfectly! (not saying it does not work immediately, but it needs its time)
