Alright then, countdown to WOA 2018 has already begun! Decent set of bands in the initial announcement. I hope Amorphis gets to play on the closed stages this time... their sound in 2015 on the open stage was rather poor.
Also, looks like there was no shortage of mud at the festival this time either. Although, it still appears to be slightly better than last two years.

It was way better than last year, we had a big fucking shower with strong winds on thursday afternoon if I'm not mistaken.
It fucked the ground real bad, but it never rained a lot at a time after that until last night right after Avantasia so it was dry in a lot of places and the infield was muddy but not liquid mud if you know what I mean.

So I literally stayed in front of the big stages for 7hrs straight last night, I got a good spot close for Powerwolf, I moved right to watch Alice Cooper and placed myself to be able to get in front/center for Avantasia.
I ended up 2nd row close to the center, I watched Amon Amarth on the Tv pretty much but it was well worth it to be that close for Avantasia

The mud wasn't as bad as two previous years but it was exhausting to walk in.
Yeah thursday we got some craaazy rain but luckily Finnchick has a good tent.
I'm not too excited about the bands announced for next year really... I want something new...

Annihilator, Prong, Sonata Arctica and Emperor, so 5 (all saved). And regarding Megadeth, the stream bugged and I didn't saved it... Also, their intro got messed up again (like in 2014).
Yesterday, I saved the stream of Amon Amarth, Volbeat. I watched a littlebit of Powerwolf and Alice Cooper

How was the infield compared to last year ? Is their draining solution made a difference ?
From what I saw, there was almost no big pool of mud/water close to the stages.
