That's possible, at least from my experiences from the last century. *knock knock*
One of the reasons I tend to dislike the modern day traffic more and more. People drive like crazy nowadays, always in a hurry, afraid to arrive 1 second too late. :uff:

yeah. here in Almere fortunately I can mostly drive on bike only roads. but there are 2 parts on my daily commute where I have to cross with cars, and I almost always need to hit my brakes to avoid cars that "didn't see me" or just didn't care.

I stopped riding a bike.
For one because apparently I'm not allowed to do so here. (didn't know that! :o) but mostly, because Belgian infrastructure isn't made for bikes at all. So you'd have to drive on the same lane as all the cars do. And Belgian car drivers are NOT used to bikes on the road! (though near the Dutch border, you see that they keep an eye on them, but the further you go into the country, the less they do)

yeah, the Netherlands is on it's own when it comes to bicycle infrastructure.
