Well my vocabulary isn't better than yours and we have to study swedish in school. I hate it.

and you can't choose a language other than Swedish? Does that mean you have to compulsorily learn 3 languages?

Swedish is mandatory in Finland because Sweden ruled in here for a long time ages ago. English is also mandatory but you can choose to start it in 3rd grade or later, depending on if you start studying French or German or something. And also of course Finnish is mandatory, so yeah in here we have to study 3 different languages.
