Well...I'd still trade in a couple of days away from time to time for my own bathroom, real food and contact with the outside world. I'd also include a real bed if it weren't for the fact that I've never slept so comfortably as I have in Wacken

I just wonder how long it could stay fun. I mean imagine the hungover you'll be waking up to after a month of partying.
I played with the idea of organising a festival, which would last for a whole month. But I gave up on it. It would be too expensive to sell tickets for, and then you'd have to find a really good, beautiful location as well. Not to mention the number of bands you need to invite.
Sorry guys, but I think it is impossible.

Come to think of it, I didn't miss the outside world/the internet at all when camping at any festival. I even enjoyed the company of other people...in close proximity...in the morning!
These sorts of things are more fun when you have to work for it...trade places with someone working at the festival until your soul is crushed, repeat

yeah there's plenty of month long festivals around. they're usually in cities, not outdoor festivals...
And I was thinking about an outdoor festival, like we have so many here.
There are festivals enough that last a year, like the cultural capital festivals and so on. But that was not what I had in mind.
