if you meet the ppl in nuremberg or so (for example) they are also bavarians, but they are way nicer than the ppl from Munich.
And ppl from Franken are saying:" We are not bavarians! We are franken!"
the Munich ppl are saying:"Ppl from Franken are not Bavarians!"

But Franken = Bavaria
