I only know two ways of preparing them. My mum always made them sweet with a sauce of peaches. When I lived at my boyfriend's place, I first had them with onion and cheese. I was kinda confused, but it's good too!

Something that is very popular in the Black Forest is "Käsespätzle". Perhaps Caro and I are talking about the same thing..
But I love it..
