Both. You can use querer as want, if you use it with a person though it usually means loving them. It's really common. You can also use amar a but that's also usually used with persons, so I rather chose the common one.

If you wanna say I love you, you usually rather say "te quiero" than "Amo a ti"

Just a Q, but isn't there a difference between Spanish Spanish D) and Latin American Spanish? Just like e.g. Dutch & Flemish? (or Afrikaans for that matter)

Isn't that "like"/"want" or something? Thought "love" was something else.

I think you're right.. but I also wrote "liker" (like) instead of "elsker" (love) in the Norwegian sentence
