The high is normally in the 80s, low in the 70s, but in winter the low goes down to the upper 50s or lower 60s, the high in the lower 70s. So not a huge temperature swing throughout the year. the winter temps are the best.

Yea I remember when I used to read the weather in the newspaper, Hawaii always had highs in the 70s-80s.

Yes true, but some homes have pools and there's also community pools. The ocean is nice but not the same as swimming in a pool.

That's correct. When we get down to the 50, it's only a few days out of the year and during the late hours of the night. The wind and rain are factors that make it feel much colder during our winter months.

I like both the ocean and the pool for different reasons. With the ocean it's nice to have the sand and the waves. The pool is cleaner though, and no sand to get in your swimsuit. And no stepping on things you can't see.

That's the funny thing about an island, you just can't escape the beach. No matter where you go, the beach is not all that far away, at times, too far to walk to, but not never far to drive to.

very good points! Also no sharks or eels in a pool. But at the same time, no fishing, snorkeling or surfing in a pool.
