Anglo-saxon=Oldenglish
Saxon is the main part of anglo saxon, cause most of the settlers were saxons. The word "Anglosaxon" was found later on the island to summarise all the tribes.
So saxon is a language itself without the "anglo", that's what I wanted to adress.
