Yeah that is not uncommon, there are A LOT of Asians here in Hawaii, and many were born here and don't speak the language of their heritage. I bet it was cool when you visited there though.

My ancestry is all European including German, but I can't speak the languages either, and I have visited Germany twice, both for WOA!
