You don't need to, just change the color name.

Like, if I click the color green, I get [COLOR.="Green"]this.[/.COLOR] [without the periods] You just have to take out the word "Green" and type the name of whatever color you want it to be.

I know, yet I can't read green, I don't know what I was writing. Can't see errors I eventually made or whatever.

There really can't be any errors. Unless you did the code wrong and the tags still show up. Otherwise you'll at least get a color.

No, because I used a colour of no contrast.
I need contrast to see what's written. THAT is the point.
I can't read green, as there is no contrast. Nor indigo (apparently)

Black, red, yellow-green, white and some more are readable, but others aren't.
