not too many bands come down here too frequently. I think the flight puts them off.

Yeah, a lot of them skip coming here for the same reason.

Well I didn't in the end. Was our last band of Wacken for that year. Had been a very exhausting 4 days, just fell out of nowhere.

No excuses.

Well I guess at Wacken there's a greater percentage of the crowd just standing around vs the Atlanta crowd which turns 80% of the floor into a pit.

Yeah with our silly accent and a million different slang words it would be bloddy hard working out what the hell we're saying.

The most slang words I heard were about beer/booze or "damned".

I've seen Alestorm a couple of times
Great drunken fun

I've seen them three times as Alestorm and once as Battleheart a few years ago. Battleheart was way better.

Added Waldbrand festival that cost $112 roughly, but it includes all the beer and food I'd need, on top of a tshirt. I'm a bit of a tyrant when it comes to getting the best deals too.
