Yeah, i saw them around in Germany, not a lot of other parts of Europe though. Most other places call them kebabs. Here a kebab is similar ingredients but on a stick (usually meat, salad, vegetables).

same here, kebobs are on a stick as well, meat, onion, bell pepper, tomato etc.

they sell them at WOA, they call them Donner Kebaps there.

That's the ones. Not exactly sure why we call them something different. we have a huge Greek population in melbourne and there's tons of these shops. Maybe it's a traditional name or something.

I think the confusion comes from our Australian penchant for shortening the names of everything. Yes, we're that bloody lazy.
