150K Before WOA 2010

they look metalcore, sound kinda deathcore

Apparently their earlier stuff was more metalcoreish, lately they've been headed towards more progressive death or something along those lines. According to Metal Archives anyway. I can sorta hear the influence, still like it thus far. Though I'm biased.

I've known of the band for awhile, just not horribly well. So that song was a nice surprise

well they are supposed to be "progressive death metal Christian band" but they are closer to deathcore

not the best band but still they have some good songs

well within their genre, they sound quite good imo, not so one dimensional like most of the "core' bands. I would add this band to the list of core bands that I like.

though I'm not much of a lyrics guy, it is a plus when the lyrics are positive, without sounding weak.

They're definitely not trying to appeal to the "alternative" kids of today at least. Adding the Christian stuff in as an influence pretty much takes it out of the mainstream.

Yea same here... Carcass lyrics aren't generally any less preferrable than say this, but it does make you feel somewhat better about yourself for listening to more positive themes. For me at least.
