Americans too.

Congratulations!!!
Now I can easilly recognise your posts!
They're starting here as well.
Nice btw. A Belgian meeting. 2 (if not 3) languages through another, and 8 out of 10 times they do understand each other, despite the language.
If only the government could do the same here, but no! Linguistic fascists are crying out very loud here!![]()

Kim now says: "Moin MOIN Quark meep meep" with her tics because of you
but yeah, languages do that sometimes. Just maybe one of these they'll declare English as the national language over here.

Belgian Asociality!

And the Road Runner of course!
Well, I liked my green card in Dutch when I was in the US. It was strange, but well, nice!
And.... no language problems there. I understood it perfectly!

.It would probably still be in Dutch after such a thing. We like foreigners here, sometimes I think maybe a little too much. I doubt that would change.
I think the reason why they don't is silly but, meh.
Hm.
Don't think that ONE official language will do in the US, since the hispanic community is a very big one (especially in certain states) and that cannot be ignored.
But I'm going home now, another 2 hours on the train, and it's freezing over here.
Tschüßchen!!! *waves*

Yeah but the immigrant group changes pretty often, can't really change the national language every couple of decades. The Germans, according to my economic teacher, have the highest population here. Nothing's translated in German though except tourist stuff![]()
