Well I enjoy driving and a long road trip in Europe to a festival would be fun. Especially with friends, metal CDs and lots of food and drinks.

And we mostly drive stick here. (Chris cannot drive stick, too bad)

I prefer trains. Despite the change.

One can stand, walk, drink a beer, etc. In a bus I cannot stand while it rides.
And there are too many fools on the road IMO.

Good points, I would have enjoyed the train I'm sure, the main point was the cost, and convenience for my friends in Trier, the bus really worked well for all of us. In 2011 when i return, I will likely take a train to WOA.

Well I meant water, juice, soft drinks. I don't ever drink alcohol and drive. It's a very bad idea. Stick is no problem for me, I like manual shifting.

I don't know if I'll be going in 2011, depends on who's going and how it'll be in 2010.

I never consider it! I hate road traffic. Too many fools on the way. (though I'll be going by car to Münster next December and I'm still considering going by car to Wacken next year)

Chris doesn't know shifting.
Now it's more difficult to rent a car/SUV/van or something, as we don't have much automatics here.

There are automatics, but it is difficult to find a rental automatic. I've been looking, but so far haven't found one.

And I do NOT want to rent a car in the Netherlands. I'll be stopped in Wacken by the costums only because of the license plate!

Well for me since Metal shows are so rare here, I am sure there will be many bands that I will enjoy on the billing in 2011. I doubt that Chris will be going then, I think he goes every other year or something. Maybe Smoo will return then.
