ON THE EDGE OF INSANITY
One thing is for sure, we may be misunderstood, and most people don't like our music, but I will NEVER change, no matter what. Metal is in my blood, and I like it that way. I may be in my 40s, but I don't care what's considered "proper" taste in music at my age. It's a true part of why I am, and very important in my life. And it's something that only true metalheads (like us) understand.

i agree .. its something in our blood, you cant change it and some ppl will never get that its not only music .. metal is a way of being . a way of life ..
and as sam dunn says in "A headbangers journey" .. either u get it or u don't .. we shouldnt bother trying to explain it to these ppl .. and shouldn't care about what they say .. we are metalheads and we are proud of it

Very well said. The people who matter to me in my life know me and accept me for who I am, the rest of them, I don't care what they think.

I know that you said that metal is not well understood and accepted where you live, so does that make it hard to find CDs and DVDs there?

its so hard getting what u want .. u can find some for the more commercial bands and nu metal bands .. but i'm more interested in getting Dvd's & Cd's of the obscure great bands ..

So you must order them online I guess? We don't have many good places to buy Metal here anymore. But that is mainly because of MP3s and itunes. Several years ago it was much better, lots of CDs shops. I don't care for MP3s.
