Could it have anything to do with Tourettes?

Nope, the Tourettes makes me feel impulsive thoughts like...as an example, sometimes I get the urge to touch a hot stove.

Edit: And I don't think those thoughts would be 'impulsive' really.

Apparently it is, my Psychiatrist said it was OCD. I don't get it either.

I don't see that as OCD though... it could be but seems more like paranoia

Let's put it this way, it took the docs (in the 70s) 5(!) years to find out I was sighted. IT took my mom 5 to 10 months to figure this out.

And now they've diagnosed my nephew with Asperger Syndrom. But I don't see anything Asperger in him. (a sort of authism, but not really)
