I wish I could go to Ragnarök, really wanted to this year... great lineup, but unfortunately it's too expensive to go just for that...
yea that's true... though where I'm going is already the cheapest 4yr university I know of, even cheaper than one that's about 5mins from where I live now... sooo I can't complain too much, except that it's still a lot of money...

I do 4hrs (return) to go to work.
4h to go to Dong, and 8hrs to go to Wacken (more or less)
Not to mention 10hrs to go to Sylt (also more or less) (and no, that's not a concert)
But only by train. Otherwise it's not my thing.

can't use gloves for it. The glue would stick on it too badly, I couldn't get the etiquettes off anymore

I'm just transferring once I pass the two year degree in community college. $1.5k per semester is a lot cheaper than going directly into a four-year. I might add it's taking a little more than two years. Too many classes :|
Ragnarok had a great lineup this year. I'm kind of kicking myself for not going. A few friends of mine went too. Next year though...

I have to admit, I'm glad to live in Europe.
Apparently (apart from US Progpower, as far as my info goes) there aren't any decent (open air) festivals over there.

Progpower USA isn't open air
but yea, as far as I've heard it's pretty good, I'm going to try and make it if possible
it's right here in Atlanta, though I won't be here anymore by then

We had the Heathen Crusade which was as close as you could get.
Sometimes I wonder if it'd be cool if I tried starting one eventually, don't know how hard something like that would be though.

no, it's not itchy. But I'm afraid my fingertips might turn less sensitive... besides that this sandpaper feeling can be just as annoying

yea the Scion fest here was pretty nice too, though unfortunately still a bit too much 'American' metal as far as a lot of hardcore mixed in...
dunno either... you might want to find someone to ask about that, like the organizers of some other festival, before you try... would be cool though
