hm looking at Google maps I'm at least at a decent position to travel to a bunch of different places... like Dallas, Houston, Little Rock, New Orleans, and Jackson are all within 4.5-5hrs or so away
that's still quite a while away though...

No excuses! I traveled 6 hours to see Pagan Knights and took a 3 hour plane ride to see Iced Earth at Chicago Powerfest. :p

I drove at 14. Not legally.

well I'm also going to be in school :p
and trying to pay tuition plus saving for another summer in Europe...

Yea, after I found Wacken sold out in 2008, I spent my 2008 Wacken cash going to Chicago :).

I find going in the summer to be kind of costly. If I had gone to Europe in say, April, it's so much cheaper. Granted, it's not as warm but I can deal with that.

Financial aid works wonders by the way >.< I get paid $1,000 a year to go to college.

yea but there's no Wacken or other festivals any other time of the year [well besides some], and any other time I'll be in class
that's cool... my parents said I'm probably not eligible for anything since my dad makes 'too much'... but they're only paying my first semester or so then I'm on my own

Well, I know there's Ragnarok festival, which I'm probably going to next year. At my school I can just plan my classes around it though. Just won't have class on Thursday or Friday and miss Monday and Tuesday classes perhaps once.

That sucks. In a way that's part of the reason I just go to a community college. I don't have to travel so far away, and if I were to ever lose financial aid, which I won't anyways, I'd be able to afford it. A degree is the same no matter where you go.
