yea, in my case knowing more than my parents isn't good. Because since they don't know computers or internet, they are way more scared of it. One of the reasons why they didn't want to have internet in a first.

My dad just told me some time ago that he's trying to teach my mum the double click right now. She's too slow

Things that are good about that they don't know the computer: alt-tab Just open the document you should actually write and then start spamming. As soon as you hear the door: *alt-tab and concentrated looks* works everytime
