"Dear All
1) Satyr is incapable of understanding that when you confirm a show, it means you will play the show.
2) He was quite insistent that the tour should happen this year, and but there was no understanding that he needed to sort out things at his end very quickly (he took days to call back if even if the message said it was urgent).
3) He refuses to have a manager, then will not take responsibility for sorting out a tour manager or tour bus etc etc himself. He expects everybody else to do it for him.
4) He has no understanding of tour finances. Where it is better to play for less of a profit on some days so that you have a show and so don't make a loss, but would rather not play a show because he was not getting the money his ego demanded. I warned him that this would lead to a lot of days off. He said that was fine as (his ego said) they would not play for under a certain amount of profit. Then when there were days off, there were too many for him.
5) He would keep asking for more money, as he just thought he should be paid more. He didn't take any notice of the break point or what merch he could sell.
6) He expected support bands to play for free. Why should he pay anybody else, the fans were only going to come for Satyricon. Support bands just get in his way, and the rest of the bill was irrelevant.
I assume you will have costs for the shows he confirmed and are now cancelling. Please feel free to forward me those costs, and I will forward them to him. Take care."
