The name of the philosopher was Nietzsche (Friedrich Willhem, by the way). He preached mostly about the proclamation that "God is dead", the doctrine of "eternal recurrence", the superhuman as an evolution of man. But he wasn't the only/first one who tought there was no heaven or hell.

And I don't think Hammered Gods is trying to fool you about her "hellish" nature......... it was just a HELL of a joke

btw, what is it with metalheads having a Nietzsche fetish? I usually find philosophy a dry and boring topic (probably due in part to the fact that my attention span is narrower than an Antarctica phone book)...but considering how often I see postings on metal boards about Nietzsche, there must be something there I'm missing.
