haha, no, I'm in the right spot. Got a GREAT airfare deal from New York to Bristol, then took the train over here. I'm going to spend more on train tickets than I did on the airfare, but even all of that wouldn't add up to more than the $1200 airfare from Washington DC to Hamburg. 
Gotta save money where I can.

That's always been one of the purposes of these Wacken excursions... interesting people! And I've certainly met a few...
But yeah...leaving London on Wednesday...Eurostar to Brussels, train overnight to Hamburg, then on to Wacken on Thursday.
btw, gnoff... i finally got my pics from last year developed a few months ago. I've got a great one of you as we were walking through the gate...grinning and holding your beer mug high, haha. Remind me to scan it when I get home.
