my first metal album was "burzum" by "burzum", it's a great album with some superb tracks, notably...WAR.
i'm off to listen to it now, just a shame that varg is locked up.

Indeed. Nearly 11 years till he gets out. Shame he won't live long after, with all those extreme mayhem fans out to get him...Then again, we always have Xasthur. Not as good, but worth a listen.

LOL! Grand Declaration of War? More like Gross Defecation of Whores! That thing was stinker! Why did they waste such an awesome album title on such a lame album? Wolfs Lair Abyss was MUCH better.

GDOW wasn't THAT bad...well, maybe it was their worst album, but still does deserve at least one listen before you sell it on

. Burzum is amazing, the moods varg can create are unreal.i´m not quite sure, but my first album was "Fly on the wall" by ac/dc or "release from agony by destruction". at that time i was about 10 yaers old...that was in the year 1990. now i´m 22 and i still like these fucking bands...

My first metal album was Guns 'N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction, which I got when I was about 15, in 1995. I didn't get properly into metal until 1998, though
