I had a culural excange with Polemgimnasiet in Goteborg this September... I've been in Goteborg! A nice city with a great metal background... but it's a shame that they don't sell alcholics to underage guys :(

i studied physiological psychology (mix of medicine + psychology) but that bored me. so i changed subject and started to study skandinavistic. that's pretty interesting but somehow i can't imagine a real job afterwards...
finally i did not visit university the last few moths - instead i work as a programmer. so, i guess i'll change the subject again and turn it into information technology but i'm not sure, yet.
maybe i just continue working. but with or without studying again i hope i finally found what i'm interested in???

Well, information technology is pretty interesting (at least for me). I started studying something similar four years ago (this is my 5th year), and I'm not tired at all!! :)

i don't know if i'll stand informatics at university long enough :/
i imagine it being very theoretical and maybe months/years behind real time developement??? but on the other hand i'm afraid that my knowledge yet won't suffice... i mean i know everything i need to know at work - but i think i'll hit the limit if i have to solve a huge and complex problem...
you see, i'm really not sure yet. but it's good to hear that it doesn't bore you :)

I think some people deal better with more theoretical & abstract material than others do. Especially something like Information Technology, which, as a science, is really in its infancy, and nowhere near developed and hardly sophisticated yet. Unless I'm mistaken, everyone's learning by facing problems that have never been faced before...er, point is...if you love it, do it...and there's no problem that can't be solved! (some just take longer than others)
